Missouri Animal Control Association
The mission of the Missouri Animal Control Association (MACA) is to provide professional training, education, and support for Animal Care & Control professionals across Missouri and neighboring states. MACA aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of its members, who include animal control officers, humane investigators, law enforcement officers, veterinarians, animal shelter managers, and others in the field. The primary focus is on improving animal welfare through education, law enforcement, and legislative advocacy.

Advocacy and Legislation: Advocate for policies and legislation that promote the welfare of animals and protect public health and safety, ensuring that laws safeguard animals from cruelty and neglect while addressing community safety concerns.
Community Engagement: Engage with the community to raise awareness about responsible pet ownership, animal welfare issues, and the role of Animal Care & Control professionals in promoting public health and safety.
Public Health and Safety: Develop and promote initiatives that address public health and safety issues related to animals, such as disease prevention, rabies control, and safe interactions between humans and animals.
Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve programs and services offered by MACA to meet the evolving needs of its members, the animals they serve, and the communities they protect.
