If I Change Agencies, Do I Need to Recertify?
No, the certification belongs to you, not your agency. It is your responsibility to inform the Certification Chairperson of any changes in your employment to ensure accurate records.
I Have Completed Some Training. What Should I Do Next?
MACA Training: If the training was provided by MACA, it will be automatically credited to your certification.
Non-MACA Training: If the training was not conducted by MACA, email a copy of your certificate of attendance along with the total training hours to the Certification Chairperson. If a certificate was not issued, provide the name and date of the training, the instructor’s or your supervisor’s name and phone number, the total training hours, and a brief summary of the training.
